First we had a breakfast at our hotel at 8am. It was Japanese breakfast and I had high expectations but it wasn't anything too special.
But after that we decided to go see the mountains! There's this Shinhotaka ropeway and we really wanted to take a look. It took 90 minutes by bus to the location but it sure was worth it! The views from bus itself were already breathtaking. I love love love the mountains and now we had the chance to not only see them close by but actually go to the mountains, yay.
On our way to the station.
We bought tickets to the highest level and I can't describe how beautiful it was.
Beautiful.
Oden and korokke for lunch. No picture of the korokke though.
We came back to the first level, looked around, sat down for a bit and then bought some snacks.
While waiting some old man came to chat with us and I had really hard time to try to understand him lol. 2:30pm we took bus back to Takayama. We were so tired that we just took a taxi back to ryokan. The driver was really talktive and yet again it was hard for me to understand all the things he was saying. But he did talk a lot about food :D
We just came back from onsen, ahh what a bless. And now it's time to pack for tomorrow because tomorrow it's bye Takayama and hello Kobe!
